I am starting on the tutorial page "Coloring the new layer" where it says "Select the Triangle Inequality Average coloring from the browser's right pane...". But it is not there. Please advise.
In what section is that tutorial section?
On starting Ultra Fractal 6.06 Creative Edition there is a "Welcome" window giving the option among others, "Open the tutorials". This opens a page with "Working with layers" and other options.
The instruction is in the second frame of "Working with layers". The tutorials don't have page numbers so I don't know the proper way of giving references.
The circled button is the Browse button. Click on that and a new window will pop up. Triangle Inequality Average is in that window.
Thanks. I attach a screenshot showing what I am seeing. It is different from the screenshot you show. I must have gone wrong somewhere previously. I am not convinced that the version of the tutorials is in sync with the version of the software. I will try going through the tutorials again and see if anything changes.
My screenshot is after I clicked on the Browse button and then on Triangle Inequality Average. Yours is before, so not a problem. Mine looked just like yours before I clicked.The tutorial is okay.
I take it that the browser had opened when you took the screenshot. Anyway, I uninstalled Ultra Fractal, then reinstalled it, went through the tutorials again and this time reached the situation where Triangle Inequality Average appeared. At one point I had to repeat a stage before it would show what was described, but I am not stuck now. Many thanks.
