In some of my deep zooms, I'd like an easy way to set the rotation. In Lightroom and some other image manipulation programs, there's a way to draw a line and have the program select the rotation to make the line horizontal.

Following tutorial, on the section about 3d mapping, and Solid Color on page 49 the color dialog does not expand enough to show the complete opacity slider. I've tried to expand the window and it does not react as a normal Mac OS window. It will expand left and right, but not up and down.

I was wondering about the upgrade policies for this application.
I see there is a v.6 coming out, if I buy 5 for the Mac, will I have to incur an update price for 6? How is this handled. Do I get all the version for a release? such as 5.xx etc, and then pay for full release?

I've tried over and over to follow the tutorial. One of the instructions request to copy the seed values from the document, which I did and verified by pasting to a note, however I keep trying to do this over and over, to paste to the fields but the option to paste complex value remains grayed out. When trying to change the font under the Browser tab in preferences the application crashes. this is on a Mac, with latest OS version, as soon as I place a font size, or select it (using 12) it just crashes. I've included a screenshot of the area I was in. I can replicate this multiple times.

Sorry - I have one other request!
I would like to be able to switch on and off Mapping formulae on all multi-selected layers (using the little coloured icon to the left of the formula name on the Mapping tab of the Layer Properties window).
At the moment it only switches on and off on one layer even when multiple layers are selected.
Is this possible, do you think? Thanks!

I was searching for this answer, but couldn't find a definite. Is it possible to import into a layer, another file format, like a PNG or TIFF. I can accomplish the same thing the other way by importing the Fractal export in readable format into PS and layer it there, but was just wondering if possible during the construction of the Fractal itself.

I literally downloaded the trial yesterday. I can't get past the very first paragraph that, in part, states:
"● Click Close on the File menu to close the fractal window. Now, the workspace is empty except for a
row of Tool Windows on the right side of

when I follow this, the whole program shuts down. The only workaround I could do is instead of "Close" I select "
It's been so long that I've done any UF programming that I've forgotten how to get the window boundary values in fractal coordinates, assuming that there's no skew. I remember that #ctr gives the center. And there's some stuff about the width to height ratio being over or under 4:3.

Would someone be so kind as to point me in the direction of a spiral that resembles a nautilus shell. Most spirals I've come across are large and run off the page while I am looking for a more self-contained, succinct design.
